Event ROI calculator

How many conversations is your team losing?

Badge scans are easy to count. What was actually said is not. Set the numbers below to your own motion and see how much of your in-person activity leaves no usable record, and what that is plausibly worth.

Takes about a minute. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask for the write-up.

Your in-person motion

Trade shows, conferences, roadshows, hosted events

Booth staff, reps, execs, SEs

What happens today

Your honest estimate. Most teams put the first one lower than they expect to.

Not the badge scan. What was actually discussed.

Deal economics
Your numbers 12 events a year
Conversations with no record of what was said 1,814 out of 2,592 in-person conversations a year
1,426 Leads with no follow-up inside five business days
272 Qualified conversations lost to no record
$2.4M Estimated value sitting in unrecorded conversations, using your deal size, qualification rate, and win rate
Your scenario You set this, not us
1,426 Conversations that would carry a real record
$1.9M Value back in play, on the same assumptions
How this is calculated

No industry benchmarks are baked in. Every input above is yours, and the arithmetic is plain:

  • Total conversations = events × days × people × conversations per person per day
  • Unrecorded = total × (100% − recorded share)
  • Value at stake = unrecorded × qualified share × win rate × average deal size
  • Scenario applies your target recording share to the same figures

This is an estimate for planning conversations, not a forecast and not a claim about Relay's results. Relay is entering early access, and we do not publish outcome metrics we cannot yet stand behind.

Want these numbers written up?

We will send your results with the assumptions spelled out, so you can put them in front of a CFO without re-deriving anything.

What Relay does about it

The gap is not a discipline problem. It is a tooling problem.

Nobody forgets to write up a conversation because they do not care. They forget because the conversation ended at a busy booth, the next one started immediately, and the only tool on hand recorded a name. Relay captures the substance in the moment and turns it into a structured record, follow-up, and CRM activity.
